Sportmanship - Good
sportsmanship is expected at all times by all bowlers. Swearing,
kicking bal returns, unsportsmanlike gestures and annoying other
bowlers will not be tolerated. If, after being warned twice by
an official due to the above infractions, such misconduct continues, a
bowler wil be disqualified by the Tournament Director, such
disqualification will only be for the tournament in which the
infraction occurs. However, if the infraction reoccurs, it will be
reviewed by the Executive Board and a bowler may be barred from
further competition on the tour. Any behavior as deemed unacceptable
by the tournament official will be referred to the Executive Board for
disciplinary review and for action.

Right of Way - If two bowlers
are ready to deliver a ball at the same time, the bowler on the right
has the right of way.

Lobbing - A bowler will be
warned if he or she is continuously lobbing. If, after being warned
twice, lobbing continues, the bowler will be disqualified by the
Tournament Director. Disqulification to apply only to the tournament
in which the infraction occurs. Membership has the right and
obligation to notify officials of such infractions.

Proper Dress - Bowling Shirts
with the name either on the front or back must be worn while bowling.
All shirts must have a collar. Tee shirts are not permitted. Sponsors
names if applicable are permissible to be displayed on bowling shirt.
The following articles of apparel are specifically not allowed to be
worn while bowling on the pro tour: blue jeans or any slacks made of
denim or spandex material; shorts, pants commonly known as painters
paints and sweat pants. Bowlers will not be allowed to participate in
any tour event while wearing these articles of clothing.

Official patches of the S.P.C.B.A. must
be displayed on the Left arm approximately 1 inch below the seam. They
are available at a cost of $3.00 and must be on the shirt by the
second tournament.

No scores will be changed on the
official scoreboard once the cards are picked up by an official. It is
your responsibility to see that the right scores is put on the
official score card.

Bowling balls are not to be moved to
the next lane until all bowlers have completed their string. Remember
that you should not remove your bowling balls upon completion of the
final string until all bowlers have finished bowling.

If there is an incident that requires a
rule interpretation of an official decision, hold up your bowling
immediately and contact on of the officials.

Tournament play will be governed in
instances not covered by the preceding rules by the latest edition of
the Candlepin Rules and Regulations Book. in case of any incident
arising during a tournament that may not be covered by the S.P.C.B.A.
Tournament rules, said rule book will be used. THE INTERPRETATION OF
AND THE DECISION BY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR (or, in his absence, the
designated official) concerning the above rules and the rules covered
in the Candlepin Rules and Regulation Book WILL BE FINAL.

All entrants are required to complete
each box in accordance with the rules and to complete all five strings
of each tournament, barring injury or serious illness. Instances in
which bowlers do not complete all five strings will be reviewed by the
Executive Board for validity and bowlers in such instances will be
subject to fines or suspension.

In order for entry to be considered to
be official, bowler must sign the statement contained in the Official
Membership application acknowledging that he or she has read the above
rules and agrees to abide by said rules
